A black lace dress with sequins for sparkle and a white ribbon sash made into a bow in the back. Corsage, beaded earrings, and white heels included. The doll has lovely black hair styled into pigtails that could use a brushing and new ties. She still has plenty of sass for any prom night.

About the artist:
Patte Burgess was the sort of woman I want to be when I hit retirement. Single and battling cancer and arthritis, she made these creations and went to the Barbie doll shows to sell them. She was active until the last few months of her life. A woman so pleasant, some of her customers would pull up a chair to sit and chat it seemed they belonged at a tea table rather than doing business at a doll show. As a girl, I absolutely loved looking at her glittering array across the aisle. I hope that this lovely doll brings you a piece of the kindness, joy, and inspiration that made Patte Burgess such a wonderful woman.
