The Alexander "Babs" Skater was inspired by Barbara Ann Scott, the beloved Canadian figure skater who won gold at the 1948 Winter Olympics — and finding her in condition like this is genuinely rare. This 18" all hard plastic beauty is all original, including her rare gold foil "Babs" wrist tag.

Condition details:

  • Face: Fine color retention with lots of blush; no skips or rubs in paint; full lashes
  • Hair: Platinum blond mohair curls appear to be in original set
  • Body: All hard plastic; fine color throughout; no marks, stains, or cracks
  • Dress & Cap: Excellent to Near Mint; no staining; a couple of tiny rubs in fabric; longer and shorter feathers in trim
  • Half Slip & Panties: Near Mint to Mint; pink with ecru lace trim; snap at waist intact; leg elastic relaxed
  • Skates: All original; some gold missing mainly at back
